Уважаемые друзья!

Если бы вас попросили назвать наиболее заметные факты из жизни Омска 2006 года, что бы вы вспомнили? Конечно, каждый назовет то, что ему ближе. Но, уверен, в перечне этих событий и дел непременно найдется место и омским новостройкам, и новым автобусам, и отремонтированным дорогам, и праздничным мероприятиям, посвященным 290-летию нашего города.

Это, так сказать, самые яркие моменты. Но наряду с ними необходимо напомнить несколько цифр – может быть, менее броских, но более значимых, отражающих жизнь и развитие нашего города в 2006 году.
Прирост объема промышленной продукции значительно выше среднероссийских темпов – более 10%. Рост инвестиций в основной капитал по итогам года оценивается в 15%.

Прирост реальных денежных доходов населения по сравнению с 2005 годом близок к 15%. Объем ввода жилья выше 720 тысяч квадратных метров, в том числе 600 тысяч квадратных метров – в многоэтажных жилых домах и 120 тысяч квадратных метров – за счет индивидуального жилищного строительства. Словом, эти и другие показатели высоко оценило авторитетное международное рейтинговое агентство «Standard & Poor's», которое присвоило городу Омску долгосрочный кредитный рейтинг, характеризующий социально-экономическое развитие города как стабильное.

Это говорит о высоком инвестиционном потенциале города Омска. Поэтому и бюджет города на 2007 год мы сформировали как социально-направленный, и его можно с уверенностью назвать бюджетом развития города. Я уверен, что период 2007 – 2009 годов будет характеризоваться продолжающейся позитивной структурной перестройкой экономики Омска, при этом сложившиеся положительные тенденции сохранятся по всем отраслям экономики города. А это значит, что в Омске будут созданы благоприятные условия для расширения делового партнерства, привлечения российских и иностранных инвестиций в экономику города.

If you would be asked to name the most noticeable facts from life of the Omsk City of 2006, what would you remember? Certainly, each would name the fact which is closer to him. But I am sure that among the list of events and proceedings necessarily will be found the place for new building projects of the Omsk and new buses, and repaired roads, and festive events devoted to 290th anniversary of our city.

These are, so to speak, the brightest moments. But together with these facts it is necessary to remind of several figures, which are probably less noticeable, but more important and reflect the life and development of our city in the year 2006.
The increase of volume of industrial product is greatly higher than the average Russian rates – more than 10%. The increase of investments to fixed capital as result of year is estimated at 15%. The growth of real cash incomes of population as compared with the year 2005 is about 15%. The delivery of housing amounted more than 720 thousands square meters, including 600 thousands square meters – in multistory houses and 120 thousands square meters thanks to individual house-building. Consequently, these and other showings were highly estimated by authoritative international rating agency Standard & Poor's, which has given to the Omsk City the long-term credit rating which characterizes socio-economic development of the city as stable.

It shows high investment potential of Omsk City. Therefore we have formed the budget of the city for year 2007 as socially directional and it can be with certainty called as the budget of city development. I am sure that the period from 2007 to 2009 will be characterized with continuing positive structural reconstruction of economy of Omsk City, at that formed positive tendencies remain for all industries of economy of the city. It means that in Omsk City will be created favorable conditions for expansion of business partnership, for attraction of Russian and foreign investments to economy of the city.
